6. Account and Data Deletion
6.1 How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your FlowMarket account and all associated data in two ways:
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
Open the app, go to Profile > Delete Account, and confirm. Your account and all data will be deleted immediately.
Option 2: Email Request

- Include: Your registered email address and confirmation that you want to delete your account
Email requests will be processed within 30 days of receiving them.
6.2 What Data is Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will permanently delete:

- Your account credentials and authentication data
- Your saved searches and search history
- Your notification preferences and schedules
- Your device tokens for push notifications
- Your profile information
✅ Retained temporarily for legal compliance (30-90 days):
- Transaction logs (required for security/fraud prevention)
- Anonymized usage statistics (no personal identifiers)
❌ Not deleted:
- Publicly available marketplace listings (these are from external sources like Subito and eBay, not your data)
6.3 What Happens After Deletion
- Your account will be immediately deactivated
- You will no longer receive push notifications
- Your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days
- You can create a new account at any time if you wish to use FlowMarket again
- Warning: After deletion, your data cannot be recovered. Please export any information you wish to keep before requesting deletion
Response Time: We will respond to deletion requests within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Access and Control
You have the right to:
- Access your data - Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correct your data - Update inaccurate information in your profile
